Description
Too many potential paths forward? The real challenge is choosing where to focus your resources. The Strategic Prioritization Game is a fast-paced, hands-on simulation that helps leadership teams make sense of complex, uncertain futures. Players surface assumptions, compare competing priorities, see the power of alignment, and how today's strategic choices ripple over time.

Game Details
Players begin by individually assessing a shared set of opportunities and risks, ranking each by impact and influence. Each team then allocates limited resources, making explicit trade-offs.
As the game unfolds, teams:
Cross milestones.- Encounter external events.
- Reveal progress, setbacks, and unintended consequences driven by their decisions.
- Decide whether to pivot or double down.
At the end of the simulation, teams come together to compare divergent future states—discussing which world they want to live in, how they arrived there, what they'd change next time, and how their choices map to the real world.
- Completion Time: 2–3 hours
- Number of Players: 4–8 per group (multiple groups may play the game simultaneously)

The Strategic Prioritization Insight App enables real-time data collection that turns gameplay into actionable intelligence: generating summary reports, visual analytics, and discussion points for the facilitator. This information supports hotwash discussions or an after action report. The app supports seamless, real-time data collection from the game. Information collected for this game includes:
- Impact and influence rankings by player and group.
- Key individual and group investment decisions related to milestone progress.
- Ability to compare numerical game data across groups.

This game is designed for customized content based upon the topic(s) you and your team would like to explore. CAPTRS will create prioritization categories, progress milestones, and external events based upon our discussions with you. Because of the level of customization, this game requires additional development time following a discovery call with the CAPTRS team. After the initial scoping process, we will provide a bid of costs associated with the customization.
