Who We Serve
Preparedness and Response Games for Teams and Decision Makers
CAPTRS games can be used by a wide range of organizations, but we work most frequently with public health agencies, emergency management organizations, educational institutions and philanthropic foundations. Based on our experience supporting these sectors, we have developed recommended game selections and use cases tailored to their unique needs and objectives.
Our games transform preparedness training and strategic decision-making into active practice. Through realistic scenarios, defined roles, and meaningful constraints, participants experience the challenges of coordinating, communicating, and making decisions under pressure. We also have games which focus on complex challenges and strategic prioritization. Each game is designed around specific learning objectives, and self-assessments are used to track learning outcomes.
CAPTRS games are accessible, repeatable, and scalable. They provide valuable learning experiences for participants at every level, from students to executives to front-line responders.
How CAPTRS Games Are Used
CAPTRS games can be used as facilitated training sessions, conference activities, staff development tools, classroom experiences, and team readiness exercises.
Game lengths vary, allowing for 20-minute or half-day exercises.
Every player is actively involved during the game, creating a more memorable learning experience than passive instruction alone.
CAPTRS games are HSEEP-aligned exercises and meet training goals. AAR templates and additional information will be provided to map games to relevant capabilities and objectives.
Many games include access to our digital platform for a customized insight app, tracking data from each of your game sessions to be used in debriefs and AARs.
